Jack White decided to treat fans to a cover of Pearl Jam’s “Daughter" during his concert at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Wash. on Monday (Aug. 13).
The cover of the song comes after Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam covered The White Stripes’ “We Are Going to Be Friends” at a tribute concert for teachers worldwide at Seattle’s Safeco Field last week. Before playing the song, Vedder opened up to the audience about two teachers that his children, Olivia and Harper, invited to the show that night. As he dedicated the song to the teachers, Vedder stated that the song was “borrowed from my friend Jack.”
Returning the gesture, White performed his own unique rendition of “Daughter” to concertgoers.
